Hey guys, sorry I don't know what section to post this in.

Does anyone know a way in which you can override the host's error pages such as 403 etc?

I have a host which sets these pages for you, and they are filled with ads. I would like to override with my own, but created the 403 page in my root dir doesn't help. Is there a way to do this with .htaccess or something else?

Any suggestions appreciated :)

If that doesn't work, there are no ways to do it.

Putting in a support ticket (or the equivalent) to your host asking why they do not allow overrides would be the only option now.
