"Page Does Not Exist"

I'm not really sure what information I need to give you in order to get help but here goes

I'm using Adobe GoLive with doctype xhtml 1.1
I built a preliminary page and uploaded it using the ftp address to the main directory. Everything uploaded fine and I can see the files in cpanel's file manager but the website won't load. I keep getting an error message saying "Page Does Not Exist". I checked the status and everything seems to be online.

Sorry if I missed something completely obvious but I looked around as long as I could stand it and didn't find anything that addressed my problem.

Did you upload all you files into public_html directory? and please specify for which url you are getting the error.
