Hello,

I've created a support request before because i was not able to run some actions, not even install SMF 2.0 because it was giving that 500 Internal error.

Today its another problem... I can't even acess my site. It takes to long to load and when it loads, it says that page it not avaliable. And yesterday i coudnt configure my SMF because that error that persisted all day.

I really want to use your services and even buy a premium hosting, but this way i have no guaratee that is going to be safe, so please take some atention on this.

Thanks in advance.

There are a few reasons for 500 Internal Server Errors, which I'll list below for you to check out:

1. (and the most common): Your file or folder permissions are incorrect. Ensure that all files have permissions 644 and that all folders have permissions 755. If your files or folders are 666 or 777, that will cause 500 Internal Server Errors. You can check permissions in cPanel File Manager or in FTP.
2. Something is messed up on x10Hosting's end. If this were the case, there would be a news post in the News & Announcements forum and/or status.x10hosting.com about this.
3. If your PHP pages take 60+ seconds to run, then the server will halt PHP execution and give a 500 Internal Server Error.
4. If your 500 Internal Server Errors are intermittent (that is, they sometimes appear but sometimes don't on the same page), then that is due to server slowness, likely because other users on your server are abusing its resources. While x10Hosting strives to suspend abusers as quickly as possible (and we do a good job at it), some abusers may slip through the cracks temporarily. Upgrading to a premium account will most certainly fix these errors as premium accounts are on different servers than the free servers.
