I have a question I've been searching around and so far not found a solution.
I have a domain that I bought, and on a private webserver I have my personal site, its not heavily used so I prefer having that one set up like that, easy for me to make small experiments with php code.
I set up an account here for a forum, that I currently host on said server, but I figured that I'd get a hosting plan for downtime concerns mainly... on my own comp/connection there's more likely to occur then on a hosting company.
Is there anyway to make only the subdomain parked in my x10hosting account?
If not, what would happen if I switch dns servers, can I still set my own IP for the other addies?
It's not that big a deal, if there's no other solution I'll just set up an redirect at my registrar, but for the sake of simplicity since there's a few forum members already using the subdomain of my private site I figured that I'd check if there's a way
Saw some thread about what I thought to be similar where a user had a dyndns free domain, apperantly he had put in the nameservers IP at dyndns (at least that's what it looks like to me in that thread, and its a closed issue so I must of have worked I thought), but when I try the same trick, it doesn't work, this is what I get as info to why I can't park it:
I've got the domain registered with a Swedish company called Loopia (where I also bought the domain)
EDIT: Might be of importance that I'm on ad-free plan

Error from park wrapper: Sorry, cannot determine nameserver IPs. Please make sure that the domain is registered with a valid domain registrar.
