I am using a parked domain. I set my main account domain in the Account Manager as "scanswers.org" and added a Parked Domain as "scanswers.org" To my surprise, cPanel accepted my domain. Usually I have to configure my DNS servers through my Registrar.

Anyways, my question is: Does x10 use DNS servers? I'm confused on how the domain can just point to x10 servers without me configuring my DNS server settings with my registrar. I still have my old host's DNS servers in place with scanswers.org.

So, someone please explain to me, step by step, how to setup a parked domain with x10. I don't want to waste time since it takes a day or two for DNS servers to resolve.

Thanks for any and all help! :)

I'm also surprised. How you parked your account's main domain !!

Does x10 use DNS servers?
Yes. All web hosts have DNS Servers.

X10Hosting NameServers are

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Just use the above NS entries for your domain. Thats it.

Thanks for the quick reply! I agree. Everytime I've used cPanel, it rejects my domain unless the DNS servers are in accord with each other. Anyways, I'll put those addresses in and see what happens.

Thanks again! :)
