Hi guys,

I'm unable to get the parked domain to point to the location of the website (webpages & content). Tried a couple of things and got my sub-domain to point to the website, although that doesn't help in this case.

Details:

Under public_html:
+cgi-bin
+nvity (it was nvity.com earlier and yes, the files are present here)

Sub-Domain: http://nvity.x10hosting.com/
(This only works if I have the files outside the 'nvity' folder)

Domain: nvity.com
(Error: 404: The requested URL /public_html/nvity/ was not found on this server)

Parked Domain panel:

"nvity.com" " /public_html" "not redirected"

So am I doing something wrong or is there an actual problem here?

TIA.

nvity.x10hosting.com gets its files from public_html because it is the root domain on your account. If you want 'nvity.com' to point to the 'nvity' folder you should remove it as a parked domain and add it back as an 'addon domain' and use that folder for the document root.

If further assistance is required please re-open this thread or create a new one. You can re-open this thread by clicking on the "Administrative" text at the top of the original post.

Thanks Corey!

So I moved the files to public_html and created a parked domain successfully.

Everything is now in order, except for the following error message I received while parking the domain:

Error from hooks wrapper: Domain action was not successfully synchronized with Jackmunch. Array ( [0] =>

Array
[1] => (
[2] => [0] => /jackmunch/bin/node-domain-action.php
[3] => [1] => nvity
[4] => [2] => park
[5] => [3] => nvity.com
[6] => )
[7] =>

Error: error creating socket: Could not connect to socket to int.jackmunch.x10hosting 2060. Error: Connection refused )

^ Is this a cause for concern?

TIA.
