When installing Elgg script, the admin path is correct at (http://thepipeline.x10hosting.com/elgg/) but when I attempt to log in I get this error. Note the "martyp" in the path.

The requested URL /home/martyp/public_html/elgg/engine/handlers/pagehandler.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hello Marty,

After reviewing your account, we determined there is a problem with the script. Can you try reinstalling it please.

I did re-install, it now has the path http://thepipeline.x10hosting.com/Pipesite/action/login

But, upon trying to log on I get the following error

This error (HTTP 404 Not Found) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but the page you wanted was not found. It's possible that the webpage is temporarily unavailable. Alternatively, the website might have changed or removed the webpage.
For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

I also noticed that the scrpt creates a folder called "actions",but in the path it calls for is "action" no "s". I did try to rename the folder to "action", but still got the same error.

It doesn't say File , it says URL .

Something is rewriting the URL incorrectly, most likely your .htaccess file. Either the one in public_html or in public_html/Pipesite

And I wouldn't go around renaming folders that a CMS creates unless you really know what you are doing.
