AMD Dual core Athlon64 x2 +6000 3.0ghz
2gb ram
NVidia 8800gt
320gb Seagate SATA 1.5
120gb Western Digital IDE/PATA

Onboard video/audio/lan, although video's disabled cause the 8800gt does much better :)

XP SP2 Pro, working on either going Vista dual boot or linux dual boot, leaning towards vista since it might just make better use of both cores.

In any case, needs more HD space. 8800gt's blocking all my sata ports on the mobo (big frackin' card), so I'm using a PCI expansion slot, so I can get at least one more drive on there (plus an ESATA if I wanna try that).

Wowie, I hope that's not the Prescott model 2.8E - I had that and it got hot real fast. Could only overclock to 3.1 or 3.2, but keep it at 3.0 just to be safe.

What I got when it was new (July 2006)*:

Processors and Board
  • Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40GHz, 4MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB
  • XFX PV-T71G-UCF7 GeForce 7900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported
  • ASUS (I think it's a 965 board, but don't have the model cuz i'm at work)
Storage and Memory
  • 74GB 10000 RPM WD Raptor
  • mushkin REDLINE 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) with EPP Profile

Case, Power, and Cooling
  • SILVERSTONE FM121 120mm Case Fan
  • Ultra Titanium Finish 120mm Ball Bearing Fan
  • Ultra X2 ULT31851 550-Watt Power Supply
  • Ultra Silver Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case
  • Aerocool GT-1000 Gold Plated Heatpipe

I could overclock this baby pretty nicely on air cooling.
