What is phising?

Pretending you are someone else (a bank, Amazon.com, Facebook, etc) in order to get someone to divulge important information (passwords, account numbers, usernames, etc).

Done via emails and fake websites.

Phishing came from the words "Password" and "Fishing". An example about phishing, when someone gives you a link and you open it, the layout looks totally the same as the Facebook login page, and he told you to login, you input your username and your password, and then you click login, you actually haven't logged in, you actually sent your username and your password to him, the username and pass is maybe stored in a normal text file in his server, or sent to his email using the PHP "mail" function.
I have some phishing websites but I just do it for fun, I don't use the password in anyway. I will give you an example of it when I get my x10 Server running It is down right now.

"just for fun" or not, putting up phishing pages on x10hosting will get your hosting account permanently suspended and then deleted.

First of all, I didn't defend ACTA and SOPA. I defended the concept of copyrights and intellectual property.

Second of all, I was just warning you that x10hosting does not differentiate between phishing sites "just for fun" or "for educational purposes" and the "real thing". Proceed at your own risk.
