What is phising?
I have some phishing websites but I just do it for fun, I don't use the password in anyway. I will give you an example of it when I get my x10 Server running
"just for fun" or not, putting up phishing pages on x10hosting will get your hosting account permanently suspended and then deleted.
First of all, I haven't uploaded them yet. Second of all, you are that guy defending ACTA and SOPA, well I think I don't really like to talk to you, so please don't reply, I am not talking to you anyway.
Phishing came from the words "Password" and "Fishing".
Etymology
Respelling of fishing (“trying to find”). In Usenet newsgroups, cracker and pirate groups used variant spellings of phish and warez (i.e. wares) to evade scans and filters by mainstream servers policing the ARPAnet/Internet.
A phishing technique was described in detail in 1987, and the first recorded use of the term "phishing" was made in 1996. The term is a variant of fishing, probably influenced by phreaking, and alludes to "baits" used in hopes that the potential victim will "bite" by clicking a malicious link or opening a malicious attachment, in which case their financial information and passwords may then be stolen.
