PHP $_SESSION stopped working; FTP upload not working;

PHP $_SESSION suddenly stopped working, won't save elements in $_SESSION. I'm calling session_start() at the beginning of each script/page.
FTP upload also stopped working suddenly while I was uploading mp4 files. Now I can't even upload a 9KB php file, either uploads 0 byte file or half of the bytes in document ~4KB. I tried Filezilla, cPanel and Windows Explorer, same results.

Your account has exceeded its initial disk quota of 1GB, which is causing this. Perhaps you could remove some old files?

I believe $_SESSION stores files on the server. As you've exceeded your quota (as mentioned above), the files cannot be created.

I thought x10hosting provided unlimited disk space? Is that no longer the case?

Yes deleting files fixed both issues. Thanks for your help.

We provide our free hosting customers with unmetered space, completely free, on request. However, even with the free upgrade, video galleries have a 1GB limit, so this wouldn't help much in your case.
