I'm trying to fetch data from a table with php but I keep getting an error with mysql_fetch_array()

Warning:  mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL

the argument must be a result from mysql_query(),

if(!$result = @mysql_query('SELECT * from tablex'))
{
die(mysql_error());
}

while($row = myql_fetch_array($result))
{
print_r($row);
}
