http://www.dmaxey.x10hosting.com/index.php

Mine is a simple test site. I only have two files. The first "index.php" calls a simple form (input.html). The form is displayed (which still works), and the user inputs one field and clicks on the submit query button that POST's back to index.php. I have changed nothing since the file last worked... but it seams that the php portion of my index.php is not being executed.

Is there some hang up on the server side that is preventing the php from running properly?

Thanks for your help

Outgoing port 80 is blocked on free hosting due to abuse by proxy scripts and content scrapers, neither of which are allowed on x10hosting. I'm assuming your script is trying to connect to the flickr api or something similar, which would require an outgoing connection, which is likely why your script is failing.

At this time, there really isn't anything you can do about this. From what I have heard, the block on port 80 may be lifted at some point in the future, but as of now the only way to ensure that outgoing connections work is to purchase paid hosting.

How disappointing. My whole reason for coming to x10hosting was because it was free, and my usage at this time is only for me as a testing platform. If I have to pay to get it to do what it has always done in the past, I may have to find a more robust provider worth spending the money on.
