php mail joomla not sending

Hi to all!
I have this joomla web http://xerra.xerrameca.x10hosting.com.When a user registers there is not mail sent to the new user, but there's a message as if it was sent. My configuration in joomla is:
global configuration: php mail, "from" xerra.xerrameca@x10hosting.com, SMTP Authentication disabled, and all the SMTP specifications as blank.
in my cPanel I've 2 mail accounts: roger@xerrameca.x10hosting.com and xerra@xerrameca.x10hosting.com.
As i'm having this problems I tried to send an e-mail between the 2 x10hosting email accounts and it's also not sending/receiving anything. I also tried to send mail from gmail account to x10hosting and also did not recieve anything. The from x10hosting to gmail account and also not recieved. not spam, and in the whitelist.
Could someone help me?

Is that a typo? Because they do not match, which might cause the mail system to balk (I think there are anti-spam settings that restrict the "From" field to email accounts attached to the hosting account)

Hey it's a typo, the correct one is xerra@xerrameca.x10hosting.com. The problem persists.
