php mailer only working occasionally

I depend on getting emails from a form someone fills out for registration into a group, which is time-sensitive. Is there a reason why I get some emails sent and then other times, like today, when three people registered within a half an hour of each other, that I received nothing?
Very Frustrating.

Check your webmail on cPanel to see if the emails you tried to send got bounced back for whatever reason, and then take the appropriate actions.
