PHP upgrade and Fantastico problems

Hi,

My PHP still says upgrade pending, and its been a couple weeks since I put in the request. Can someone take a look?

Also if I try to do anything in Fantastico, it says that Fantastico cannot connect to MySQL. I also can't connect to MySQL from my web pages. Can someone help me out with this? I've checked and double checked my PHP code for connection, but since Fantastico says it cant connect I think there's something bigger wrong.
