PHP Upgrade Curiosity

I send in an application for my PHP version to be changed and it says that I will get a response in 24 hours; however, I have been waiting about a week now trying to be as patient as possible and I'm wondering exactly when I would either get the change I asked for? Do I need to send another, or is this good enough?

You applied for v3, unless you were asked to do so by an admin, you wont get it as a rule - and its a manual process.

I see, and I understand why that is. If possible, I should cancel the application anyhow because I found out I don't have to use v3 for the stuff I need to do. Thanks for the help.
