PHP Upgrade

Hello, I was wondering how long it takes for the upgrade after it is accepted. It says I will receive a response within 24 hours. Does that mean it will take that long to upgrade because it says upgrade pending right now and above that it says

Your application for PHP v was accepted and your account is pending a PHP version upgrade.

The upgrade takes about 12 hours. Please wait for atleast 12 hours, if you still see the problem post back.
