Hi,

I have recently applied for PHP Version 2 so that my Joomla! and vBulletin can function fully and the version change was accepted.

However, the problem I am having is that vBulletin will not install because of the PHP function fopen(); not being enabled as it should be in PHP Version 2. So I have come to the conclusion that my account must not be upgraded.

Also, I have received the email to say the version upgrade was accepted but not the one saying it was upgraded. The acception email was sent about 48 hours ago.

Thanks for any help.

You will receive two emails. Once saying you have been accepted and then one more saying you have been upgraded.

Thanks for fast reply;

I know that I should receive another email, but it should have arrived 12 hours after the acception email yes? It has now been 4x that and I was just wondering if my account had actually been upgraded as it is 36 hours after it says it should have been.

The reason I waited 2 days was to give time to see if it was just delayed.

Thanks.

But I still cannot install vBulletin as the function doesn't work. Perhaps this is a different problem then?

Also, I have still not received the email to say that the upgrade was successful.

You are on Intermediate PHP which should be enough for vBulletin. Try clearing all temp files and try to install it again.

Ah thank you GamingX and all the others. I have installed it now. Once again X10Hosting rules over all others...

Thanks for your help.
