I just created an account to host a forum to go along with our website so I created the account and installed the forums with cpanel but when i go to log on to the forums it shows a "General Error" message and says that access is denied for user 'fastcar_phpb1'. We have already created a forum but we forgot the password and username and it got suspended. Thanks. Link: http://forums.henoxdforums.x10.mx/

I did not work extensively with phpbb but from the error It seems that there is an error with mysql settings.
For all php based cms or forums there would be a configuration file in the installation folder.
Can you just try to access that config file and edit the password if necessary?
By the way the password I meant was for the sql database.Also check for the permissions for the respective MySql user.

I cant change the password because it has been hashed and in the config file its just on the settings on how to connect to the database for all the passwords.
