How do I create a phpBB forum off of my domain?
I'm struggling
I downloaded phpBB already.
I tried to see if my FTP was working by uploading a song to my FTP after I made a new folder, right clicked, hit copy url without logging in, pasted it in, and its not working.
I don't know whats up.
Can you help me with this phpBB thing?

Hello,

In cPanel (http://thedoodlemaxers.elementfx.com/cpanel) there's a section called Softaculous. You can use that to automatically install phpBB.

10 mins ago i just installed a phpBB forum, it's like my 6th what I installed.

ok, first of all you have to create a SQLdatabase and give it the permissions, select all of them.

also make sure when you upload the phpbb set these permissions:

- Change the permissions on config.php to be writable by all (666 or -rw-rw-rw- within your FTP Client)
- Change the permissions on the following directories to be writable by all (777 or -rwxrwxrwx within your FTP Client):
store/, cache/, files/ and images/avatars/upload/.

then u shouldn't have any problem.

when u finish the instalation delete a folder called "Install" or just rename it.
