phpbb intsall problem

hi im pretty new to all this, ive got a PHPBB 2.0.22 board uploaded the files to my ftp and all that get to the install page fill in the info then click install and it says

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

what am i doin wrong?

any help is apreciated

can anyone on here point me in the direction of finding my DSN?

The details for your account should be:

Database Host: localhost
Database: <x10username>_<nameyouchosefordatabase>
Username: <x10username_<nameyouchoseinmysql>
Password: <passwordyouchoseinmysql>

Replace all the labels in <...> with the actual details.
