What file path can I find the footer? I opened a new forum and I need to put the ad on.

If theres more then one footer (like for threads) and then one for another page, tell them all :D

PS: I'm using phpBB 3.0.x

Thanks.

Thread Moved to Scripts & 3rd Party Apps
To edit the template for your style, edit the file
/styles/[StyleName]/template/overall_footer.html
If you want to edit the header, edit overall_header.html

You must go into the Administration Control Panel and Purge the Cache to see changes. (When you get in, it's the last button in the center). :)

3. Advertisement Policy(Applies only to Advanced & Corporate Plans)
We require avertisements are required to be placed on your website. This is a form of revenue for x10Hosting and helps us continue to offer free services like this one to you. You must follow the below terms in order to avoid suspension, or in extreme cases, termination of your hosting account.Advertisements are expected to be placed on a working site within one week of sign-up.
» Proper advertisements are required to be placed on each and every page of your website.
» Advertisements are to be placed in such a spot so that the end-user can view them without having to scroll down on the page.
» Advertisements must be placed on your site. They may not be placed on any pop-ups or pop-unders.
» The advertisement and its source code must be on your page entirely. The image or code for the advertisement must not be edited in anyway.
» You may not promote clicking of the advertisements on your web site.

This is what the TOS says.

This is true, ads must be placed in the header in such a way as they are always visible, this includes the banners for corporate hosting. You must also note that advertisements are not allowed to be placed in rolling marques or random scripts, they must ALWAYS be visible.

Exuse me, I've actually talked to BRANDON the admin, a wile back ago. And I told him about my ads showing up but it was in the source, and he said that as long as its in the source its okay.

Thank you VERY much,
Dylan

I believe Brandon may have been referring to the fact that sometimes the ads are not actually visible on your page, even though the code exists. As long as the code is found in your page's source, it's fine. The rule in question still applies here, if it didn't, it wouldn't exist in the ToS; but that's my take on it.

at the end, it just show

CGI Timeout

The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process.

Any ideas?
