phpBB templates

I've downloaded a template for phpBB and now im trying to install it the site that i got the download from had a tut but it was way too straight forward help plz

Upload it to your themes and import it through your themes section in your APC

Upload the whole template folder to the directory called themes in your phpBB installation. Then go into the ACP and under styles click Add. Then just make sure you go and switch the theme under the general configuration. (phpBB 2, have not yet had a chance to try 3.)

what do i use to upload files, the file manager in cPanel maybe?

A FTP program I recommend filezilla.

i changed it to my default and it stays the same

Try re-building the cache in the ACP.
