So, here I was, downloading phpBB and uploading it to my server, where they asked me to install it.

I was all ok, but then something comes up :O

They ask me for this "Database Server Name / DNS" stuff, and I can't answer. I tried stoli, x10hosting, and some more stuff, but it didn't work. An error would keep coming up.


any ideas on the name? :S

have you created a database in your server before you installed it?

First you need to create a database and a user in your cPanel, then assign the user to the database.

Then use this details:
host: localhost
username: stated in cPanel
password: the password you choose
database: stated in cPanel
