hi,

i've just gotten my host account, i tried to upload a template for my forum (phpbb, the automatic one on my account)
but i realised i dont know the host adress to upload my template..

am i doing this the right way or are there easier wase to add a new template...

ps: i'm using WS_FTP LE, do you guys have any better (free) upload programs?

Yes. You can look for more templates at www.phpbb.com or www.phpbbhacks.com.

now i've found a good template..
how do i put it in my forum..
i've uploaded all the requested files with my ftp-uploader but i cant seem to find them..
where should i look cuz i know i first have to install my phpbb2.. but i dont know the site where i can find my damn files...!!!

i've tried: http://laclan.x10hosting.com and look for phpbb2 but i cant find it..
on ftp://ftp.laclan.x10hosting.com i've find it but i couldn't start the installation...

EDIT : If you want to upload a template you found to your site, go to forum/template directory. Then from your forum admin cpanel>>Style Admin, under Add and install the new template that you uploaded.

To be exact it should be public_html>forum>templates, then you will see it in your styles admin.

i've uploaded it into public_html>forum>templates but i still cant see it.. i can see it when i use "create" so i supose i have to configure it there first..?

Sorry, I dont understand what you mean by create and configure it and at where. :grin: Basically after you download the zip file template from the phpbb site, you unzip it and upload the file to the abovementioned directory. Then from your forum admin cpanel>>Style Admin, under Add and install the new template that you uploaded. Then you go to General Admin>>Configuration to choose the default style you want.

i've solved my little problem but i have a new one..
i'm going to use Frontpage to make my real site.. (sory but i'm not good with coding, if you have any better programs: TELL ME)
i want to put my forum on my site so i dont have to make 2 different once. Get it..? does anyone knows how i should do that..?
inline frames dont work.. help me!
