phpMyAdmin Error!!! need help

when I click "phpMyAdmin" from cPanel, an error returned:

phpMyAdmin - Error

#2013 - Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111




What's the matter? Please help me to fix it.

in order to work on PHPMyAdmin, Corey had to take the MySQL server offline.

And if your getting the 500 internal error, same reason, because script can't connect to database
