phpMyAdmin PLEASE HELP!

I created a database and user with all privileges to the database using the MySQL Database Wizard. In the cPanel, I clicked on phpMyAdmin which brought me to a login screen. I tried typing the credentials for the user I created, which allowed me to log in, but it said that there were no databases. After searching through the forums, I found several that said to use my cPanel credentials. When trying to log in using my cPanel username and password, I received an error "#1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server"

Can someone PLEASE help?

Login to the account panel and change your password @ https://x10hosting.com/control

There is a bug with cpanel that causes PHPMyAdmin\cPanel to become out of sync, updating your password will fix this.

I tried to change the password yesterday and went to check the status today. The action status says "Process wait". How long does it usually take to process?
