Hello,

First, let me start off by saying that x10hosting.com ROCKS HARD and has the BEST FREE Web hosting on the Internet! In fact, it rivals any paid Web host that I've ever had in the past.

That said, I need to point out that this is the second thread I started to address this problem, because the first one remained unanswered for more than two hours, so I closed it in order to repost another one, as I'm "jonesing" bad to work on my Web site. And just in case my first thread didn't make sense or something, I'm rewording my request for help herein, to wit:

Could someone in admin please either "reinstate" my "free hosting" account for "how.to.diy.club" or "delete" it ASAP, so I can start over?

Moreover, the reason for this is because I "accidentally" deleted my hosting account request during the sign-up / confirmation process and cannot do anything with this account except participate in the forum, which is kinda useless without the Web site. Please understand that it was an honest mistake, and that I am very sorry!

Thank you very much in advance for your timely attention to this matter! Have a great, blessed day.

Sincerely,

Michael Brock
http://www.mbrocksworld.co.cc/ (my blog that is currently hosted with x10hosting.com)
http://www.how-to-diy-club.co.cc/ (Web site that I'm trying to change to x10hosting.com)

P.S. By the way, the first article that I plan on writing at my new Web site is going to be about "How to Get a FREE Domain Name and Unlimited Web Hosting" and will be featuring x10hosting.com as my preferred choice for Free Web hosting, along with .co.cc for the Free domain name. And the sooner my site is up and running on your servers, the sooner I will be able to post the article.

Re: Please either "reinstate" my "hosting" account or "delete" it, so I can start ove

Hello,

Are you aware that you are only allowed one free hosting account per person? I see that the mbrocksworld.co.cc site is hosted on a different account.
The forum account you are posting from does not have a hosting account linked. Provided you do not already have a hosting account, you can sign up for a new one for the how-to-diy domain, and specify this forum username in the signup process. This will then link the accounts.

Re: Please either "reinstate" my "hosting" account or "delete" it, so I can start ove

Hi stpvoice,

First, thank you very much for replying. Second, no, I was not aware that we are only allowed to have one free hosting account per person, but I just re-read the TOS and noticed that rule in the lower portion of the same. Apropos, I had only read the "key things" prior to that. So I do apologize for trying to create another account when I should not have, which is probably why I had a problem during the sign-up / confirmation process.

Moreover, I was not attempting to contravene any of x10hosting.com's policies, as I honestly did not realize that we were only allowed to have one account per person. I thought it was OK to have multiple accounts and was just trying to avoid having to "add-on" my new .co.cc domain to the "mbrocksw" account, because it will actually be a "sub-domain" of my "main domain", and I'm afraid that will have a negative effect on my SEO efforts for the new domain, especially since they are not related to each other in any way whatsoever. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this point, because I'd really like to know for sure?!

Anyway, that pretty much answers my question, and I will neither post anymore threads regarding this matter, nor try to create another free hosting account. Thanks again for your reply and have a great, blessed day.

Sincerely,

Michael Brock

P.S. Is it possible to make my new .co.cc domain (i.e., how-to-diy-club.co.cc) my "main domain" and change the other one (i.e., mbrocksworld.co.cc) to the "add-on" domain? The reason I ask is that I'd much rather my personal blog suffer any negative SEO side-effects than my new Web site.

Yes, switching the Add-on and Main domains should be fine. :)

Using an add on domain shouldn't adversely affect any SEO too much, if any.

As long as they're on the same account, you're in the clear. :)
