Please Help Me!

I am new at making web pages and I was just wondering if anyone could help me make a website. I need to use an html document for an assignment in college, but I can't figure out where it goes so my teacher can look at it and I don't know what the website would be. Please help me!

Welcome to x10 amber81188! There are plenty of people here who can code sites for you. I would, however I'm on vacation right now. Otherwise, anything you want to place on the Internet goes in the public_html folder in the FTP/file manager.

the html page should be named index.html
it is then placed on the main (root) folder of your site
for some sites, that is public_html folder, i think
that's all there is to it
