Thanx in advance for the site review comments.

I joined because I thought SSL was available for the free websites as per website reviews,

uploaded my website, then found that SSL wasn't available unless VPN or Premier is chosen.

I have an older shop program that makes the catalogs of which the SSL (https: address) is

now defunct so that I've manually changed the checkout pages. If anyone knows a better

solution, please comment.

There are a variety of options available if you use Google Checkout instead of paypal directly.
You have to integrate google checkout to paypal

The Site review:
You need to add better authenticity and testimonials from atleast a few users before you get flooded purchases.
Instead of using X10 freehosting, you need to use Premium or VPN
else use google sites for reducing your headache of getting rid of ssl.
Generally people prefer ssl sites to the rest.

But note that quality site like that of yours might very well require credibility too.Do carefully as its related to money transfers.
