If you need some text or image trailing your mouse check out www.dynamicdrive.com ... Take your time to look around as I am quite sure they have some javascripts that can do that.

There are a lot of examples of this, if you do a search on google. It involves using some fairly complicated javascript. Have a look at these links for already made code.

Note that most of them don't work very well in firefox.
