Can you arrange to have the domain transferred to this hosting site as I think this might be why the ftp isnt working.

You need to go to log into your registrar domain account, and then change the nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com Allow up to 48 hours for the dns to take effect, and then it should work.
