Port 465 Stopped Working [fsockopen()] Since Monday

I am using Gmail SMTP server for sending mail from my own domain.
Since last monday I get the error:

fsockopen() cannot connect to smtp.gmail.com:465

I think the server is not allowning fsockoen() now.


Please let me know what I should do to slove this matter, is this a tempory issue or fsockopen() is not more supported with x10 hosting ?

It's been temporarily disabled because there were a lot of proxies using it. It should be back up soon
