I use the Portable Apps software on my U3 USB drive.
I've found that "Allway Sync 'n' Go" is a very useful file sync tool. It isn't listed on the Portable Apps website so I thought I'd post the link here.
There is also Blender Portable which isn't listed but is available here.

Portable Freeware has a large collection of apps, but the website isn't very well designed.

These are some very useful toolts.

I use these portable apps on my usb key, they are great for when you are swapping between computers but you don't want to install the programs on all your computers.

Ive used them before, but they seem to crash (well firefox did anyway) i think its because my memory stick is very old and slow.

Ive uploaded a portable app that isnt on there site Its Winzip Pro.

These apps are great... I love keypass which is also available on windows mobile. Keypass compatible with the PC and then you keep the same file synched on your windows mobile.
Very convenient.

Portable apps are the best, if you put them on your flash you should get this:

I absolutely love PortableApps, I use it on my flash drive at all times. You can even run Linux from a flash drive now, like Damn Small Linux (excuse the language, that's the distro name) or the incredibly cute Puppy Linux (the most awesome dog ever ). There are also some portableapps for Mac, but I don't recall where they're located.
