Well you almost have it set up. Whatever you did now has all the links blocked.meaning if i try to goto inbox basically it just refreshes the main page.

You need to change the bottom logo on your forums to the logo i resized and emailed you.

But you are almost there :)

The forum is pretty nice except you need a template.

well I gave up on try to mod the logo, can't seem to get it. I also don't know what the email confirmation is not being sent out. I hate to say it, but I might just change to another forum software. This one is not working correctly. I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: I didn't give up and will keep my current forum software!

suppose I shouldn't advertise software here...
but if you wanna try a diffrent forum soft I would recommend Quicksilver Forums

I'm using it for a few sites now, and before ending up with that one I tried a few, none that I really liked that much. I never tried the one you have though, so I can not say for sure how it compares.

The support team is great, they all do it on their spare time, but I never had to wait long before getting an answer, if you are good at php it's easy to mod (using a modlet system) it has great skinning capabilities (one reason why I like it, I don't want a forum that looks just like everyone elses)

I never got the activation code :(

Mike, I had to turn off the email activation, as it was not sending out the email. No activation required. I see you registered, but did not post in the forum. Go back and try to post if you want and I will donate the 150 to your acount, after I get an email from you. If you have problems posting let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I guess now I better try to make what I am using work, because I already have users signed up at the forum, and posted messages in there. Would not be fair I guess :naughty: I think I looked at quicksilver forums.

I am on my way, hope it is not ended.

Hey, come on over...have not seen you there yet (unless I missed you). Just remember to email me when you have posted so I can credit your 150. Have only had 4 great people take me up on the offer. :happysad: Come on everyone, before I run out

What a guy.....but you don't have to do that
Edit:
Use SMF or PHPBB3.

Is there away to move everything over to PHPBB3? or do you have to start all over?

no activation e-mail(see that you disabled this) & cant login (Invalid username or password).
Using same alias as I use in x10(most forums)!

Hmm...
Edit:
When I try and resend password says e-mail not in database?

There should be a converter from phpBB 2 to phpBB 3 when the latter release is stable and has gone gold (no more RC). Meanwhile I think you should just sit tight with your forum. :)

Signed up and posted as: jasonlcy.
