OK, since I haven't seen one here, and the search came up that the last one was back in July, I'm curious how your desktops look.

Don't be embarrassed if its cluttered (my Linux desktop is messy as well).

Here's mine. I turned off my second monitor and turned down the resolution a bit so that the picture wasn't a 10MB file.

Well I had Win2003 and it was FULL beyond FULL... i f'd it up so this is my new almost minimalist XP.

I'd normally have a babe wallpaper but seeing as how I'm back home for the holidays I've gotta keep it PG

I consider this theme much more minimalist than the default XP themes (yes, this machine is XP)

gnome is what i use when i'm on archlinux. kde is too much of a hog, and i've grown accustomed to gnome. now that i've got a new vid card, i should start running compiz-fusion w/out having any black window issues. (compiz-fusion > vista/osx/etc...)

i've got two bars, one on top with the menu, apps, weather, and time, then the bottom is just the task bar. i have a subaru as my wallpaper on it

and and xPlozion i see someone watches chuck! i'm watching it right now streaming it

yea, i still need to get the one from this monday. I missed it all together.

the tree in the background looks kinda rough along the outer edges. nice and clean though. i also like the tree above your start menu (don't know if that's part of the wallpaper or a widget).

Yes is windows xp, whit a skin of mac..

here's my linux one: puppylinux frugal install. window manager is icewm with a custom theme. the bar is wbar. icons from kdelook.org

my xp one:
vista theme with add on driver for ext2/ext3 drives and icon pack. also uses vistart

both systems running on amd duron mobile oc'ed to 1.37ghz. 768mb ram. 64mb ati radeon 9000+ agp 4x card. who says you need power to look good?
