i dont see why its so difficult to take 5-10 minutes between working on your site to quickly log in to the X10 forums, maybe post in a game thread and then your done for a month.

its a small price to pay for free web hosting, dont you think??

You simply have to log in here to get your activity registered. It goes by last activity time.

The facts do not matter.
The masses have decided on this issue regardless of reality.

Well.. just in case, lets post some nonesense :p
YES INDEED SO
...because
I have been serious thorrough in this respect.
Every week -and i mean EVERY!! -i open the forum and browse around and read news and some of the topics on the board.
Eg i have been 'active'
NO -NOT SO-
Today i get a mail:
We are sending you this email to remind you to visit the x10Hosting Account Portal.

Visiting the Account Portal once per month is a required to keep your hosting account active.

All that we require is that you access the portal while authenticated.

WHAT!!?
What is THAT about?!?
'Active' is NOT browsing the forum
at least not ENOUGH!
So no sence posts it is - or perhaps the 'avtive' registration is at the point of logon.
Here the problem is that it is posible to choose: 'always stay in' as option.
I think the issue is right there...
But then its just seriously silly.. :/

Hey, jensenajob22, that information is CRITICAL!
Thanks for getting that out there.
Geez, this changes everything.

This thread was a joke. . . Turns out it is now a lifesaver.
Good find.
And thanks again,

As noted above, quickly logging in to the forums is not enough. You have to post in a thread or visit the account portal once a month. I have set up a monthly reminder on my iPhone to do this. :)
