If i were to switch to premium hosting, would my account keep saying high system resources and shutdown when i use wordpress? is it difficult to switch from free to premium? if i go to premium, will most email servers block my email as spam (which happens quite a bit now)

It's extremely easy to switch, just sign up for a premium account and post a ticket for you files to be transferred :)

The high resource usage suspensions would stop.

The email servers blacklist the email addresses, not the domain. Therefore it's only going to spam folders because people are marking your emails as spam.

Hello,

Our premium services have different resource limits to our free. The following is a quote from our terms of service at http://x10premium.com:

Code:
4. Unmetered Resources, Limits, and Rules
x10Hosting offers unmetered disk space and bandwidth on all the shared hosting accounts, users are still restricted to the above allowed sites and the following limits on CPU & Memory usage:

May not use more than 50% of available CPU resources for more than 120 seconds at a time.
May not use more than 50% of available CPU resources for more than 5 minutes out of a 60 minute period.
May not use more than 820MB of memory combined between processes
May not have more than 10 processes running at any given time.

Exceeding 75,000 inodes or 10GB of disk space will stop your account from being backed up on our 6 hour incremental backups, if you would like to utilize our 6 hour incremental backups you must stay under 10GB of disk space and 75,000 inodes. Accounts are allowed a maximum of 300,000 inodes. Each file on your account including images and emails are counted towards your inode limit. A warning will be issued when you are near the maximum and ample time will be given to correct the issue.

So no, you would not have the same problems as free.

It's also very easy to switch from free to paid hosting. You sign up for a premium account, once you've done so you can submit a priority support ticket at http://clients.x10hosting.com/submitticket.php and request your account to be transferred. You will need to provide your free-hosting account information (username, server, domain is usually enough) and also be aware that if you use your own domain it may take up to 48 hours for DNS to propagate.

E-mail servers are a little bit more complex, spam is much lower (almost none) on our premium services, although some issues may occur as we cannot always stop everything, but if you do have a spam listing, it is quite easy to submit a ticket to see if we can have it resolved for you. In most cases we can.

Regards,
Jarryd

Thanks Jarryd, with email servers being more complex, I don't want to lose my current emails that may be floating on my server since it's been suspended.... as long as those will all transfer, I'm ready to go to premium!

Hey,

I have just confirmed with Corey that the e-mails should copy over correctly, although i would recommend taking a backup of anything important just in case. Also i have removed the suspension so you can take any backups you require.

Regards,
Jarryd
