@Zenax the answer to that is simple to get in office and stay there. think about it what would unite a people and get them to STOP thinking more then attacking them from a unknown or undefined source. you cant fight terror as you just give it more power if you try and as the saying goes one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter and you cant stop a idea.

the reason he got ellected was because of his stance on gay marriages. no other reason. the war is wrong just like the reason for the war was wrong. you do remember why we went into Iraq right?? they supposedly had weapons of mass destruction both chemical and other. the only reasons we went to war are these: OIL and Pride. Pride?? you may ask but yes pride Bushs Family pride he finished what his father started and failed to do.

just to leave you something to think about is why didnt 9/11 or some other teriable terrorist attack happen before????

Look at our accomplishments: an abortion ban in South Dakota, gay/lesbian marraige bans in several states

How are those "accomplishments"? This is supposedly a free country, so how is it a good thing that abortion and gay marriage are illegal? Gays have as much right to marry as the non-gays and how about you let the mother make her own decisions? How about I ban straight marriage because I don't think straight couples should be able to marry?

If this is really a free country, people should have a right to make their own decisions. And maybe you should try looking at it from a gay person's point of view. Two people love each other but because of people who don't like anyone who's different than them they can't get married, just because of something they're not in control of (being gay).

Gay marriage isn't hurting you or infringing on any of your rights, so there's no reason for it to be illegal.

The Iraq / Afghanistan war is necessary.. thanks to Bush we have prevented additional terrorist attacks from happening.

I agree with you that the Afghanistan war was necessary there was a clear link to S11. They admitted that they were hiding bin laden.

I disagree that the Iraq was was necessary. The reasons given (ie WMD) were lies and they kept changing what their goals were. If you say it was good because they got rid of a dicator, my reply would be are you prepared to sacrifice 3000+ Americans for each dicator and there are plenty more dicators of the same evil as Saddam.

As an Australian I have no real opinion on how Bush and the US goverment is managing their own country. Though personally in terms of foreign policy I think the US could lose its arrogance, eg Bush saying there country is the only one that can have nukes so we can threaten others with them..
