previously uploaded images not found

hello, late last night I tried to upload and image to my site.. to find out that there is none in there and none are showing on my pages. I don't know where to look or how to fix this

maybe I could do a backup? like to put all the way it was yesterday afternoon..but idk how to do that

the images directory I think..is it possible to look into it? I never used - ftp - i don't know how to do a backup files..please..thank you

Sorry, I hadn't released you were using our site builder. When your images were showing, did you publish the updated website, and were these images visible on your site?

Another question: did you resize or compress the images before uploading them? It's very easy these days for a straight-out-of-camera image to exceed 10MB (lots of pixels, fine quality JPEG), and files larger than 10MB are automatically deleted after 4 hours. If you need huge images for any reason, a JPEG optimizer (such as JPEGmini/JPEGmini Light - that's just an example, there are others) can bring the file sizes down an awful lot without making a visible difference. If you don't need huge images (where "huge" means 20MP or more), then resizing them to something more appropriate for the web will make a bigger difference.
