Prime upgrade: where is it?

There's apparently no longer a way to renew or upgrade to Prime. That's fine, but there should be some sort of announcement or information about it being discontinued if that's the case. It seems odd to ignore people that want to pay for the service.

It isn't discontinued, it's just currently unavailable. I know - doesn't make a lot of difference from your perspective right now, and I'm inclined to see it that way myself. All I know is that the previous update plan for Prime/Illuminated was interrupted by another service (plan types) change in the works, and that the date for release is indeterminate but meant to be this year.

Thanks - I did read something about a plan revision but I would expect the existing plans to continue until the new ones are ready. Guess not!
