prob on cutenews pls help

Hi! I was trying to access my cutenews/index.php to delete the (spam)comments when "Internal Server Error" appeared instead. Sorry for posting this topic. I tried to search for other threads but haven't seen one w/ the same prob as mine. Hoping for some friendly help? ^_^

Please contact the server administrator support@x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I also wanna know if someone could help me eliminate spammers from posting redundant comments on my cutenews. Is my english ok? Hehe.

Make sure index.php has permissions set to 0755 or 0644. 0777 or 0666 will cause 500 errors.

If that does not help, check any .htaccess files. If it contains any RewriteRule , make sure you have the line

RewriteBase /

at the top of the file.

EDIT/ADD: No idea on cutenews. I would check the site that offers the script and check their documentation/forums.

And your English is fine. Much better than my Tagalog.

any idea on eliminating spams on comments?
