Hi,

My website was working fine until I changed my primary domain name on Sunday, 20/7/08.

My original settings:
cPanel name: artistic
website address: http://www.artforum.x10hosting.com
Hosting Type: Ad-Free

I notice the DNS and Apache HTTP server status in AMP are Offline.

My new settings:
cPanel name: artistic
website address: http://www.trendylifestyles.elementfx.com
Hosting Type: Ad-Free

Problems facing:
- When I tried to access the new URL, it says:

"Bad Gateway

The following error occurred:
Code:
 The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL. [/SIZE]
[/B]
  [SIZE=2] Please contact the administrator."[/SIZE]

- Although in AMP the primary domain is [URL="http://trendylifestyles.elementfx.com/"][U]http://trendylifestyles.elementfx.com[/U][/URL], I could not access the cPanel using the new primary domain, [URL="http://trendylifestyles.elementfx.com:2082"][U]http://trendylifestyles.elementfx.com:2082[/U][/URL]. However, I'm able to access cPanel using the old domain: [URL="http://artforum.x10hosting.com:2082"][U]http://artforum.x10hosting.com:2082[/U][/URL]. When I tried accessing using the new URL, I have the same "[B]BAD GATEWAY[/B]" error message.

- When I tried accessing my old URL [URL="http://www.artforum.x10hosting.com/"][U]http://www.artforum.x10hosting.com[/U][/URL], it says,

[B][SIZE=2]"Great Success [I]![/I]
    Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server"[/SIZE][/B]

- I also could not login to FTP using the new settings.

[B]Things I have done before posting:
[/B]- searched the forum threads for solutions
- flushed dns (as suggested by admin)
- cleared browser cache (as suggested by admin)

I'm at my wits end ... have done what I need to do. I'd be deeply appreciated if any admin could assist me with the problems I'm facing. Thanks loads! :happysad:

The administrators are currently fixing some server-wide DNS problems. When they are done, your problem should be fixed.

Great! Thanks for the fast response! Will try again once the DNS is up. :happysad:

Edit:
Hi again, I believe the DNS is online now (cos it's showing online at AMP) but I'm still having the same "Bad Gateway" problem (detailed in my above post).

When I tried to ping trendylifestyles.elementfx.com, it says:

"Ping request could not find host trendylifestyles.elementfx.com. Please check the name and try again."

However when I tried to ping artforum.x10hosting.com, it says:

"Pinging artforum.x10hosting.com [74.86.240.236] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 74.86.240.236: bytes=32 time=256ms TTL=51
Reply from 74.86.240.236: bytes=32 time=256ms TTL=51
Reply from 74.86.240.236: bytes=32 time=258ms TTL=51
Reply from 74.86.240.236: bytes=32 time=258ms TTL=51

Ping statistics for 74.86.240.236:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 256ms, Maximum = 258ms, Average = 257ms
"

Hmm ... any idea ? :dunno:

Edit:
Hi,

I'm still unable to access my new domain. Can any admin please assist? Thanks a lot. :)
