problem linkin forum account to hosting account

As the title says... I get an error that the Hosting Username does not exist when I try to link the forum and hosting account in order to access the account panel. I know what I used but it just gives me that error. I also did not see a way to have it emailed to me to see if I perhaps did a typo on it.

Just to double check I clicked to open a new account and it states I already have one.

What do you think your cPanel username is?
It will be listed in one of the e-mails you received when you signed up.
