Dear support,

I have problem parking my domain. My domain is womanbox.pt. The .PT domain provider has vary weird and horrible policies about changing the namespaces.
In order to change the namespaces to yours: ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com it needs to pass this technical validation: https://www.dns.pt/pt/ferramentas/avaliador-tecnico/This one in order gives error because the domain is not parked at x10hosting.com. I am in a vicious cycle. :/

Could you please manually park this domain for me?
My domain at x10hosting is womanbox.x10host.com. My account is with the same email as as the account for the forum.

I saw similar thread at your forum. One user also had a .Pt domain and one of your admins parked the domain manually.

Would really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Daniela

I am sorry for asking again, but I am trying to configure my website for 2 weeks now and still no progress! It never took so long before. I have contacted my registrars they tried to help, they set the A records but still I can't do anything! Everything is in your hands! Could someone please park my domain manually?

for weeks? how is that possible!?!?!

free-hosting support in these forums is community based (i.e. by volunteers) and most of them do not have access to your free-hosting's server - if needed to resolve your issue

the reality is staff (i.e. Admins) may not have the time needed for free-hosting accounts - staff's other projects and services take priority over free-hosting's accounts support

there is no guarantee of support for free-hosting accounts

Especially if there is no admin to make the change.

your free-hosting account's main domain name can only be a subdomain of a x10Hosting's domain - it can be [ .x10host.com ] or [ .x10.mx ] or [ .x10.bz ] or [ .elementfx.com ] or [ .pcriot.com ]

Free x10 services are becoming more and more restrictive, over the years. I can guess the reasons and understand them, but users should be alerted that they can not use certain national domains (.fr, .it, .pt, etc.) as parked domain, because of their systems of confirmation.

the issue is those registrars with non-standard requirements that x10hosting must configure the DNS nameserver (NS) records on your account before you can set the DNS-NS records there - which must be done before you can add them in cPanel as an Addon or Parked (same as 'Aliases') domain - it is a cPanel requirement

...but organizations that control the use of national domains

and that organization controls who can use that country code TLD - but there are registrars that are not under some type of control that have non-standard requirements to change DNS records

That's the best part.

yeah, it is horrible as well, I have already cursed it it many times. But hey, here it is worst, no admin for tech support!?!? Not even once a week... what a service is that...

If I paid my landlord $0 a month for rent, I wouldn't expect him to be at my beck and call.

Pretty sure this has gone far enough off topic now.
