Problem with c-panel

Hi. When I log onto cpanel I get the following error:

Sorry for the inconvenience!

The filesystem mounted at /home/dag on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.

I wasnt aware that I was reaching the limit or that if the limit was reached cpanel would close down. Can this problem be fixed somehow without deleting any files in the partition?

It is a server wide problem, not just your account.
The Admins are aware of the problem and are working on it.
