Hello guys,
I am facing some problems with Joomla, my site has come to a standstill. I posted a thread on the Joomla forums, but so far I have not received any replies. I was hoping that someone here might just be able to know what's the problem. Here' the thread that was posted on Joomla.
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing a problem with Joomla due to which I am facing a lot of difficulties in setting up my site. The problem is when after I create a module and try to add content i.e add an image or flash in the custom output box, when I click on the image symbol to insert image, a new window opens up and it remains blank..

Look at the attachment to see the error

Submit a request for advanced PHP in your account panel saying I told you to. We can see if that will fix it.

Corey, I did that but to no avail....Still the same thing, btw I got a reply on Joomla couldn't understand it though....Here's the reply that was posted
"The typical solution to your problem consist of making sure that you are entering the exact same url in your browser to get to your site as you defined in the $mosConfig_live_site variable in configuration.php. So if the variable is defined with a leading www then you need to enter that www in the url you use to access your site and vice versa. Try it and let us know if it solves your issue."

How to do this?

Open up your configuration.php file, look for $mosConfig_live_site and post back here what it is set to.

Here you go....[$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://gamingx.x10hosting.com';], you can have a look at the site. The home page is custom created and from there it is linked to the Joomla page.

I'm not sure how it's setup but is the line supposed to be:
[$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://gamingx.x10hosting.com'];
instead of
[$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://gamingx.x10hosting.com';]

With the ; outside the bracket?

I've got the same issue before, when using the default Joomla WYSIWYG editor (Tiny MCE mambot), and I also found that the editor has some problem with Firefox too. And problem solved by installing custom WYSIWYG editor mambot like Joomla FCK, other custom free Joomla WYSYWIG editor you can get it here.

For paid Joomla WYSIWYG Mambot I would like to recommend this JCE it's easy to use, includes advanced image/media and File handling, plugin support, and more. Note that you have to install all the JCE's component & mambot to make it works properly.

Actually the brackets don't exist, I added them and made a mistake by putting the bracket in front of the colon......
Edit:
Veivei: I installed the Joomla FCK mambot, how to make it the default editor....I am still getting the same problem :(

ok..how to make it the Joomla FCK to be default editor..

1) login Joomla admin.
2) Published Joomla FCK mambot in Site Mambots.
3) Go to Global Configuration on fist tap "site"
set >>> Default WYSIWYG Editor: Joomla FCK then save.
4) Go to User Manager.
set >>>Super Administrator *admin*see Parameters>>User Editor>> then set Joomla FCK as default editor and save.
..Done..

last thing is set file permissions with ftp client ..
.../mambots/editors/fckeditor>>755<<
.../mambots/editors/fckconfigjoomla.js>>755<<
.../mambots/editors/fckeditor.php>>755<<
ps..if still getting problem try to set All file permissions in fckeditor Folder to>>755<<
...let see how it work ..;)

I installed it and made it the default editor and I also changed that $mosConfig_live_site = 'http://gamingx.x10hosting.com'; to $mosConfig_live_site = 'http://www.gamingx.x10hosting.com'; and now everything seems to be all right. I think the change with the editor and the $mosConfig_live_site did the trick. Thanks for all the help guys, I really owe one to all those who answered. Thanks.....:)
