Problem with phpBB3

I've found several threads with the same issue, but funnily enough not one of them listed the solution.
I uploaded and extracted phpBB, set all the permissions, and started the installation process - click the install tab, and then the proceed to next step button. Once I do that, I get the following errors:

Warning:  Cannot load module 'SQLite' because required module 'pdo' is not loaded in Unknown on line 0
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /install/index.php on line 440: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions_install.php:24)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /install/index.php on line 441: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions_install.php:24)

Any help would be appreciated.

I just ran the install and it works fine for me. Make sure you download the "Full" version of PHPBB and you're using the MySQL database on the database connections page of the install process.

I downloaded the stable release from http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/

I cannot get far enough in the installation to even set any database settings. I'm at a loss.

I attached the modified file for you. Copy it to the "includes" folder and remove the .txt from the end.
