Problem with wordpress

Hi everyone,
I got Wordpress installed today without major problems, and the wp-admin works just fine.
My problem is when I try to visit my site, this message appears:
[h=1]This website does not exist!
blablabla...[/h]That's impossible simply because I caught the domain I'm trying to visualize!
I don't know if I missed some steps in the whole process of configuring the host, as I don't have much knowledge on IT so a bit of help would be wonderful.

did you install WP in the root dir, ie public_html?

Why haven't you removed the default index.html from public_html ?

Make sure you always clear your browser cache and history before checking your site for changes.
